# Eight looks, one export. MarsDawn ships four preview themes, Dawn, Classic, Modern and Vivid, each with a light and a dark palette — eight combinations to read a document in. Export to PDF or print, and the page comes out in whichever one you were reading. **Four themes × light and dark = eight ways to read a document, and one export path that matches whichever you chose.** More importable themes, and a gallery to share your own, are planned — not built yet. ## The four themes - **Dawn**, the default: the same warm paper and Mars Rust accent this site is built from. - **Classic** (典雅): a plainer, document-like palette. - **Modern** (流行): a cooler, more contemporary palette. - **Vivid** (活潑): a brighter, higher-contrast palette. Each one has its own light and dark variant, so switching your Mac's appearance switches the theme's palette with it, not just the interface chrome. ## PDF export and print use the same theme Export to PDF or print, and the page uses your theme's light palette: Mermaid diagrams are drawn into it, code blocks keep their syntax highlighting, and page breaks avoid splitting a heading from its section or cutting a table or diagram in half. The free [marsdawn command-line tool](/cli/) uses the same exporter, so a script or an agent produces the identical PDF, in any of the four themes, with `--theme`. ## Planned: more themes, and a gallery Coming later, not shipped yet: more importable preview themes, and a gallery on this site where people can submit their own. `/themes/v1/` is already reserved for it.
