# The PDF looks like the page you wrote.

Export as PDF or print, in your theme's light colors. Diagrams and highlighted code come through, and page breaks avoid splitting what belongs together.

## What that means

- **Mermaid diagrams** are drawn into the PDF.
- **Code blocks** keep their syntax highlighting.
- **Page breaks** avoid leaving a heading at the bottom of a page or splitting code, tables and diagrams.
- **Any layout.** Export works even while only the source is showing.
